Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and is a professional Music Therapist working with terminally ill patients in a hospice setting. He lives in the United States, but his parents are Iraqi Jews who fled persecution in Iraq. After September 11, 2001 he organized a mailing list for people who were confused by what was happening and who wanted information about the Middle East. This web site is an outgrowth of those efforts.
Annette is a Professor of Education and is also the daughter of Jews who fled Iraq. Her paper "Jews of Arab Lands" is the result of years of research on the experiences of Jews of Iraq and other Arab countries and on the history of her family.
We may not be well known but we carefully document everything we write. Personalities do not matter. We let our sources speak for themselves.
